WPIX/Ch. 11 has won the prestigious New York State Broadcasters Association Award for Excellence in the category of Best Locally Originated Newscast.

Ch. 11’s 10 p.m. newscast is co-anchored by Kaity Tong and Jim Watkins, with sportscaster Sal Marchiano and weatherguy Irv “Mr. G.” Gikofsky rounding out the award-winning team.

CNBC’s Ron Insana has snagged an exclusive interview with President Clinton, airing Tuesday at 7 p.m. on “Business Center.”

Clinton is expected to discuss the nation’s economic situation and other business matters.

The fairy tale romance of Linda Stangel and David Wahl ended in murder – or did it?

Wahl’s body was found washed up on a beach in Washington State; Stangel claims he committed suicide while walking along the Oregon coastline.
