‘Meet’ market

NBC wants you to know that the Tim Russert-hosted “Meet the Press” won the Sunday-morning ratings race – again – for the week ending March 21.

Russert’s “Press” averaged 4.1 million viewers – far ahead of ABC’s “This Week” (3.3 million viewers), CBS’ “Face the Nation” (2.6 million viewers) and “Fox News Sunday” (1.2 million viewers).

In other NBC news, “Saturday Today” is up 12 percent in household ratings over last season, with “Sunday Today” notching a 6 percent increase in the same category.

Victor’s Village

Former Village People band member Victor Willis reveals his heartbreaking story on tonight’s “Inside Edition” (1:37 a.m. on Ch.2).

After the Village People folded, Willis was plagued by a drug habit that left him destitute and homeless, living in an abandoned building in San Francisco until he was evicted by the city.

But on tonight’s “IE,” Willis says he’s now drug-free, living with friends and collecting steady royalty checks from his halcyon days with the Village People.
