‘Love’ lost?

Insiders say ”Love Connection,” is history – but will still air in reruns through September.

Officials at Warner Bros., the studio that distributes the show, said that no decision has been made yet on the fate of ”LC” (10:30 a.m. on Ch.11).

A report that the show has been canned first appeared yesterday on TV Guide’s website.

”That report isn’t real,” a Warner Bros. spokesman said. ”The decision to bring the show back next season is still up in the air.”

Welcome, Matt

It’s sweeps time, and while Diane Sawyer rides a bus over at ”GMA,” hunky ”Today” show co-host Matt Lauer is kicking off his ”Where in the World is Matt Lauer?” 1999 tour on May 10.

Last year, Lauer logged 24,000 miles in five days, circling the globe and popping up in different places.
