BROOKLYN’S TV on the Radio beat Franz Ferdinand, Wilco and seven other emerging acts to win the fourth annual Shortlist Music Prize on Monday at a concert in L.A.

The experimental indie rock trio, who won $10,000, released “Desperate Youth, Blood Thirsty Babes” last March and have become the darlings of the downtown scene.

MTV2 will feature the highlights of the concert, which included Dizzee Rascal and Nellie McKay, in a special airing Saturday at 9 p.m.
