ABSTRACT:

Much like children, cell-phone users should be seen and not heard.

Surprisingly this moral isn’t heeded by New Yorkers. Even those who know what fork to use in a four-star restaurant still don’t know how to behave during a public phone call.

Look around you, in streets, in restaurants, in private parties, in cabs, everyone has their phone glued to the ear.
