‘HEROES” is beginning to look a lot like “Star Trek.”

The hit NBC drama has recruited Nichelle Nichols, better known as Lt. Uhura from the classic “Star Trek” series, to play a grandmother this season, according to tvguide.com.

Nichols joins her former “Star Trek” co-star George Takei, who played Mr. Sulu on the ’60s sci-fi series.

Takei, who’s better-known these days for his much-imitated “Oh my” utterance – made famous by Howard Stern – guested on “Heroes” last season as Hiro’s dad.

Nichols is only expected to appear on a few episodes of “Heroes” as Nana, Monica’s (Dana Davis) grandmother who lives in New Orleans, according to tvguide.com.
