The SVU’s latest case, a 14-year-old girl found dead in the Hudson River and believed to be a victim of sex trafficking, prompts Det. Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) to go undercover as a Madame in the hopes of identifying the body. She busts a sketchy sex trafficker, Alik (Misha Kuznetsov), who tells her that the girl is actually a child prodigy, not a child prostitute. Through some digging, Benson and the rest of the SVU team discover that the girl’s father is a compulsive gambler with a seemingly obvious reason for killing his promising daughter. That is, until Det. “Fin” Tutuola stumbles upon some new, case-altering evidence.
