‘Waiting for Lightning’’ is a fawning documentary about Danny Way, a young skateboard daredevil from a broken home. In 2005, 31-year-old Way, with the help of two giant ramps, jumped over the Great Wall of China. (Really!) Director Jacob Rosenberg makes heavy use of family photos and talking heads, but the person we want most to hear from, Way himself, is largely missing. Go figure.
