Jon Banner is the new senior executive producer of “This Week,” now that George Stephanopoulos is returning as host.

Rick Kaplan, who’d been running “This Week,” will remain at ABC News.

Stephanopoulos, who will remain with “GMA,” replaces Christiane Amanpour beginning this Sunday morning.
