“The Wendy Williams Show,” which launched on Ch. 5 earlier this summer, will roll out in national syndication next year.
The show, hosted by the popular WBLS DJ, will air on Fox-owned TV stations in “mid-2009,” according to producer Debmar-Mercury.
“The Wendy Williams Show” has aired only in New York, LA, Dallas and Detroit and has performed strongly among women viewers. It ends its six-week run this Friday.
The show’s return next year in national syndication insures it will be seen by a wider audience.
