Mixing business with friendship can be tricky for anyone, but for Malika Haqq and Khadijah Haqq McCray, there’s an added complication: The buds they’re doing business with are the Kardashians.

Identical twins Malika and Khadijah star in the new E! reality show “Dash Dolls,” premiering Sunday at 9 p.m. It’s a spinoff of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” and Kris, Kim, Kourtney and Khloé are all executive producers.

But the 32-year-olds, who have been friends with Khloé since they were 15 — “My boyfriend at the time was Khloé’s friend, so…we became very close,” says Malika — insist that working with their famous friends isn’t a problem. They just make a point of keeping things separate.

“We do not discuss money; we leave that to the lawyers,” Khadijah (wed to former NFL player Bobby McCray) tells The Post.

The show finds the Haqqs managing a stylish gaggle of shopgirls working at the Kardashians’ Dash boutique in Los Angeles. (Malika previously worked as Khloé’s assistant, and both sisters appeared in the 2005 “Sky High.”)

Malika is insistent, though, that they’re not hangers-on.

“We did not put out any signs like ‘Yo we want a show.’ It didn’t happen like that,” she says. “Khloé and Kourtney asked us if we could help them out. The Dash store was doing really well and they needed help with their employees. There were past incidents where stealing was involved, so they asked us to be the eyes and ears of the store. They needed somebody that they could trust.”

As for what it’s like being tight with America’s most gossiped-about family, the sisters say it’s like being tight with anyone.

“Like any other person, when someone talks negative about [the Kardashians] we either laugh it off, ignore it or get mad and come to their defense,” says Malika. “People really do not know them.”
