WILD KINGDOM
WANT to see a real urban jungle? Take a stroll through the most famous city park in America. From The Pond to the Harlem Meer, Central Park is crawling with wildlife. Leslie Day, an environmental and life science teacher at the Elisabeth Morrow School and author of the “Field Guide to the Natural World of New York City,” gave The Post a tour of where the wild things are. A good place to start is by entering at 81st Street and Central Park West, where you’re likely to see the most animals, Day says. “And maybe your interest will be piqued by these organisms we share the city with.”
