“Birdman” might have been one of Oscar night’s biggest nominees, but for a brief moment, the Sunday night show was all about Batman.

During a performance of “Everything Is Awesome,” the Shawn Patterson-penned contender for best song, Will Arnett popped in for a cameo as Batman, his character from the movie.

Canadian pop duo Tegan and Sara performed the song, alongside Andy Samberg’s comedy group, The Lonely Island. For reasons unknown, Devo’s Mark Mothersbaugh and  Questlove also made a cameo.

The over-the-top number also featured dancing construction workers and Oscar statues made of legos, handed out to celebrities in the audience like Oprah Winfrey and Steve Carell.
