POUR EXCUSE
Wine Rave NYC is not for stodgy ol’ oenophiles. The newlook wine event turning the Metropolitan Pavilion (125 W. 18th St. between Sixth & Seventh avenues) into a lounge-like setting – complete with music and food – is meant to lure young hipsters into the fold with some 200 wines for sampling, along with short seminars. It is Friday, 6 to 10 p.m. and Saturday, 3 to 10 p.m., general admission is $48 ($80 VIP) at wineravenyc.com, (212) 352-9900, or at the door.
