WOODSTOCK WINNERS
NEIL Burger‘s “Interview With the Assassin,” a drama about the JFK assassination, took the top prize at the Woodstock Film Festival Sunday night.
Honorable mentions went to “Khaled,” the story of a troubled boy, and “Blue Car,” in which a high school girl has a fling with a male teacher.
Ironically, David Strathairn, who plays the teacher, told a fest audience that the film’s distributor, Mixamax, “wasn’t really behind getting the film here.”
