David Marciano, who played surveillance expert Virgil on “Homeland” for two seasons, is leaving as a series regular.

Marciano could still appear in a recurring role, according to deadline.com.

He’s now the second series regular to leave the Showtime series, following Diego Klattenhoff, who played Mike Faber.

“Homeland,” which copped a SAG Award nomination as Best Ensemble Drama, returns later this year.
