New York has never produced an “Idol” winner — but we’ve had some contenders.

So where are they now?

• Michael Lynch, Astoria, Season 9: Wrote and performed a song in Tyler Perry’s “Madea Goes to Jail.”

• Constantine Maroulis, Brooklyn, Season 4: Nominated for a Tony in 2009 for his lead role in “Rock of Ages.” Currently headlines the show’s national tour.

Kevin Covais, Levittown, Season 5: “Chicken Little” had small roles in small movies before moving up to the big time, a role in the upcoming “Men in Black III” playing an intern.

• Anwar Robinson, East Orange, NJ, Season 4: The dreadlocked teacher joined the national tour of “Rent,” in 2007 and has released several albums, including “Everything,” in January.

• Christina Christian, Brooklyn, Season 1: Leveraged her “Idol” fame to get a gig on the TV Guide Channel. Has since dropped off the radar.
