The hits keep coming for Athenahealth Chief Executive Jonathan Bush.
Just three days after The Post reported that Bush settled a sexual harassment claim with a former employee in 2009, a video of Bush behaving in an inappropriate manner at a 2017 health care industry event has been reported by Bloomberg.
Bush, dressed as a character from the 2006 film “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” reportedly said he wanted to “jump down on” one of his female employees “and do inappropriate things,” in a video.
The executive of the Watertown, Mass.-based health care software company apparently thought better of his comments moments later.
“Uh, but obviously that’s totally inappropriate and would never happen or be said on a microphone,” Bush, nephew of former President George H.W. Bush, reportedly said.
Photos of Bush in costume from his now-private Instagram social media account were seen by The Post.
Athenahealth is battling a takeover attempted by Paul Singer’s hedge fund, Elliott Management.
Reps from Athenahealth did not respond to requests to comment.
