Just like landlines and VHS tapes, inhalers may become a thing of the past.
According to the Lancet Respiratory Medicine, a new experimental pill could help adults who suffer from severe asthma — making toting around an inhaler obsolete.
The pill, Fevipiprant, works by reducing inflammation in the airways, making it easier to breathe.
A study of 60 severe- asthma sufferers by the University of Leicester found that when given the pill, patients saw nearly-instant improvement.
