A woman once believed to have been the world’s heaviest died Monday — despite losing 715 pounds earlier this year, according to reports.

Egyptian woman, Eman Ahmed, 37, made headlines when she went into a hospital in India weighing 1,155 pounds — and came out significantly lighter after bariatric weight loss surgery.

But she died of intestinal shock and kidney failure at another hospital in the United Arab Emirates early Monday, according to local news outlet the Khaleej Times.

Ahmed had not walked in 25 years and was in Abu Dhabi for additional surgery so she could stand upright again.

Earlier this month, she was seen “dancing in her bed,” according to El Arabiya.
