A new, wood-oven fired pizza destination is about to land in Harlem.
La Grata, which launched in the South Bronx, has a new location at 1260 Amsterdam Ave., a space formerly occupied by now-defunct Serafina Harlem.
Chef Erminio Conte, a launch vet of Serafina, will helm La Grata, a high-end, pizza-pasta joint that won’t be as hard on the wallet as his former employer.
Developer Keith Rubenstein of Somerset Hospitality and Sean Largotta, Somerset’s managing partner, also are part of La Grata team.
Largotta was formerly partners with chef John DeLucie, who at his peak had a slew of celebrity hotspots, including the Lion and Crown.
