It wouldn’t be Coachella without at least one jaw-dropping onstage mishap — and this year, Swedish electro-pop artist Cobrah delivered.

Cobrah shocked festivalgoers when her top suddenly burst open mid-performance at the Gobi stage on Sunday, exposing her and sending the singer scrambling offstage in the middle of her set.

The incident unfolded in seconds, according to stunned fans and viral chatter online. One concertgoer wrote that Cobrah appeared to be adjusting her outfit before “it was just … and her running off stage,” describing the moment as a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it mishap.  

Others said the crowd was left in disbelief.

“I was jaw on the floor,” one fan posted on Reddit, while another added, “we were so shocked and felt so bad.”

In a very on-brand twist, Cobrah reportedly addressed the wardrobe fail head-on before continuing, according to posts circulating on Reddit.

Cobrah began the show wearing a nude-colored corset-style bodysuit with a structured fit and bra-like cups.

The look had boning and vertical paneling, with an edgy take on a crossover between burlesque dancewear and high-fashion lingerie.

After the wardrobe mishap, she came back on stage with an oversize black T-shirt over the same nude corset bodysuit.

Later, she returned to her signature risqué aesthetic, swapping into a black bra as part of a wardrobe change and continuing the performance alongside special guest Grimes without missing a beat.

Fans online largely praised Cobrah for how she coped with the chaos, with multiple commenters noting she “handled it very well” and kept the energy high despite the awkward interruption.  

Of course, not everyone was convinced it was entirely accidental, with some festivalgoers speculating that the moment may have been partially intentional, though others quickly pushed back, chalking it up to Coachella’s notoriously unpredictable fashion-meets-heat environment.
