A Scottish comedian took her internet troll to task — by going straight to the man’s mother.

Amna Saleem revealed in a tweet Saturday that she reached out to a troll’s mother after three months of harassment — including threats to rape and kill her.

In a text message, Saleem told the woman that her son’s behavior had become “increasingly erratic” over the past months. She claimed that he had photoshopped her face onto naked bodies and threatened to post them online.

“He seems offended by my existence as a woman from a Muslim background who doesn’t adhere to his strict standards,” Saleem wrote to the woman. “I’ve never met or interacted with your son, so his grievances against me are quite baffling.

“As you can imagine it’s not a very pleasant experience on my end. Would you mind speaking to him about this, please?”

The mom responded by promising to do something about her “stupid son.”

“He is due home any minute and we will be speaking to him immediately,” the woman replied. “Expect an apology from him later today. Thanks for letting us know about our stupid son.”

The move prompted several of Saleem’s Twitter followers to praise the comedian and the mom for their classiness.

“Full respect to you for being so polite & restrained,” one user wrote. “Full respect to his Mother … for her reaction and for not tolerating this behavior.”
