It’s a ruff life for these shapely dogs.

Dog owners in Taiwan are having their fluffy pooches groomed so that their faces make perfect squares and circles. And the dogs appear less than thrilled about it.

The geometrical doggy ‘dos are apparently a new social media trend, with Instagram users trying to find new ways to make their pups stand out.

The haircut can only be given to certain breeds, since dogs need to have lots of excess hair around their faces for groomers to create the shapes. So at least we’ll never have to see a squared-faced pit bull, or rectangular golden retriever.
