Benson, the celebrity cat, was born to model.

The photogenic gray tabby has more than 251,000 Instagram followers under the handle “a_street_cat_named_benson.” His looks are so fierce that the kitty “does quite well for himself financially,” pet influencer Zoe Mansuri told The Post.

Social media stardom, however, wasn’t always this feline’s fate.

The formerly “scrawny and tiny” street cat was rescued from Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and brought to the States. He now lives the high-fashion life in Baltimore, Maryland, and rarely repeats outfits, which are a mix of Amazon purchases and custom couture.

“At this point, I have run out of hangers!” Mansuri said, adding that the Target by her home is also low on supplies. Benson boasts a wardrobe of more than 250 items. His mom purges the closet annually and donates the clothes to charity.

Cat lovers can’t get enough of his gender-bending wardrobe, too. “Benson is a boy. He dresses up like a boy and a girl because life is too short not to be everything you want to be,” Mansuri said.

She started the adorable account in 2018 to raise the spirits of her husband, Uvesh, a physician. “When I spent time with Benson, automatically the stress [of being a doctor] kind of goes way],” he said.

“I always tell [my wife] jokingly, ‘I would rather be working in the ICU than thinking about all these captions and dressing [Benson] up and getting the perfect picture.’ ”
