One of Ivana Trump’s favorite uptown destinations will soon have a sister spot downtown.

After 22 years, Paolo Alavian has closed his iconic Soho restaurant, Savore, at 200 Spring St. It is slated to re-open in April as Altesi Downtown.

It will be the sister restaurant of uptown Altesi, but will be more casual and accessible, Alavian says.

The original Altesi, which opened in 2014, will be re-branded as Altesi Madison as the group looks to further expand in late 2017.
