Between Leighton Meester, Juliette Lewis, and the fashion team from Vogue, it was a packed house at the 3.1 Phillip Lim show.

Thankfully, Lim presented a supreme collection that started off with a matador-inspired look. But all literal references were abandoned once the polka dot clutches, sexy schoolteacher eyeglasses and oversized bow belts came down the runway. And let’s not forget the floral-applique shoes, most of which were shown in a bright pink pump or flat. Clearly, Lim is in an accessorizing state of mind.

And everything else was just plain pretty. Lim wowed with his zipper series, in which a variety of skirts, tanks and dresses were designed with swirls of allover zippers – a pale pink shift was a particular favorite.

Lim loyalists, take note: either start saving or find that second job – almost every piece from this collection is a must-have.
