Talk about piling it on.

“Alice + Olivia” designer Stacey Bendet might design slinky dresses, like the short, sparkly numbers in her fall line, but she automatically covers them up.

“I usually dress like a 90-year-old grandma in 47 layers,” she told the Post at her Fantasia-inspired presentation at the Angel Orensanz Center.

“I’ll start with a skirt and top and then I don’t know what happens. I’ll leave the house in one thing and come home from work with 14 more things on,” said the yoga fanatic. “It’s a riddle inside of an enigma. When I wear one thing, I’m like this just doesn’t feel right.”

Her three kids — Eloise, Scarlet and Athena — also love to layer and layer and layer. “Dress, jeans, boots, coat, they’re like mini-mes.”
