Lined in the front row of a raw outdoor setting on 24th Street awaiting the spring showcase of designer Scott Sternberg’s Band of Outsiders were a few of fashion’s well-known names. Former Rachel Zoe assistant Brad Goreski chatted with “Glee” star Kevin McHale, while young blogger Tavi came in at the last minute to a full house.

The show began with the masculine-influenced women’s line, Boy. No surprises here with crisp, black and white strong tailored pieces aimed at the girl with a little of a tough side. Then, mixed in were a few toile items, including a great trench for those seeking a slightly softer side.

Next came the more feminine line, Girl, which offered lighter tones — ecru and nude — and fabric (cotton lace and floral printed silk) silhouettes bordering on what an ethereal prairie princess might wear on a sunny day.
