BRIAN REYES
The Brian Reyes crowd was seated and ready by 9 a.m. An ungodly hour during Fashion Week, but each season, he proves his collections are well worth losing some shut eye. This season was no exception.
Muted creams, asparagus greens and hits of rust littered the runway in a variety of collared dresses, blazers, and his now signature pouf skirt paired with slouchy, thin sweaters. All this might sound heavy for spring, but his fabrics were airy and light.
Oversized crocodile clutches, conical-shaped gold necklaces and zebra print heels added a touch of spunk to an otherwise quiet and tightly edited collection. There was a lack of embellishment, as well, save for the final metal mosaic dress – the perfect cocktail frock for any Reyes fan.
