Calvin Klein designer Francisco Costa is a brilliant manipulator of fabric.

He sent out what was more or less an entire collection of funny-shaped white pieces, yet each dress, coat or jacket looked different. It’s the texture, the way he wove the fabric or pieced together the poufy, sometimes misshapen silhouettes that gave these pieces great life. This is one of those moments when you acknowledge Costa is either crazy, or crazy like a fox (we vote for the latter). Just how does he think these things up?

Women’s feet will love Calvin Klein sandals for spring as they were flat-forms — flat, platform sandals — that made the wearer look like she was walking on chic little boxes.

The star wattage is always important at Calvin Klein and this season was no different. The front row included Calvin Klein model Eva Mendez, Kerry Washington, Thandie Newton, Molly Sims and the model Karolina Kurkova, sporting a real, obvious baby bump.
