Carmen Marc Valvo is letting his corners show.

Seemingly obsessed with squares — of patent leather, of ribbon and of leather — this designer presented a clear and concise collection of very pretty cocktail dresses and skirts, all decorated by the shape in some way. Bits of patent leather were woven into a tweedy fabric. Wide ribbons were woven together to make a fabric that was fashioned into dresses, and metallic leather squares were lined up like bricks to make a fabulous skirt.

Some of the standouts in this collection were the blouses, particularly a black silk jersey twisted top and an asymmetric front ivory jersey top.
