Bright, festive and floral – Carolina Herrera’s spring offerings were an explosion of color and prints, mainly containing flowers of some sort.

And these flowers were spectacular, many were even three-dimensional and oversized – hanging off shoulders, decorating bodices and sprinkled across skirts.

As always, Carolina’s collection was lady-like, as her woman is the most refined. Whether it’s a skirt and blouse or a dress with a cardigan, Anna Wintour-style, these are lovely offerings.

Carolina’s red carpet customers may have a problem with this collection, however, as it contained only one solid-colored gown – but we suspect they’ll find something. We suggest the black-and-white number with oversized paillets to make a bold statement.
