Cartier has squared the circle. In a design feat, the French jeweler has created Trinity necklaces and bracelets that link cushion-shaped rings.

Like the iconic ring introduced by Louis Cartier in 1924, the new offerings feature interlocking bands in gleaming pink, yellow and white gold.

But instead of the original’s round elements, these are square with rounded corners, graduated in size.

Carefully assembled by hand, the luminous bands weave together seamlessly. A new cushion-cut ring, partially paved in diamonds, serves as a glittering accompaniment.

Trinity’s geometry may have expanded, but its meaning endures. Each piece symbolizes love in all its forms.
