Raakhee found relatively ouch-less, quick results at Ion Studio (41 Wooster St., 212-343-9060), where blowouts start at $60. Hers lasted three days and turned many heads — including Victoria Beckham’s, at a fashion show. Caitlin Thorne Hersey

The blowout at Revolver Salon (124 Crosby St., 212-219-9626) was inexpensive at $45 and lasted four days, but there was too much product buildup from leave-in conditioner, hairspray and smoothing creams. Eilon Paz

At Pell Salon (22 Pell St., 212-233-6789) in Chinatown, pricing is negotiable — our reporter scored one for a mere $18! — and although the results were pin-straight, save your hair the damage caused by all the flat iron-sizzling.
