Claire Danes lit up the Met Gala on Monday night — literally.

The “Homeland” star arrived at the annual Met Museum benefit decked out like an intergalactic Cinderella in an ice-blue Zac Posen gown that glowed in the dark.

The futuristic couture — made of an ultra-thin organza woven with fiber-optic strands — was in keeping with the star-studded night’s android-chic theme celebrating the opening of the museum’s new costume exhibit, “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology.”

Posen was positively beaming over his creation.

“The fiber-optic woven organza was specially ordered from France, made for the illuminating and starry-night effect of the gown,” he said in a press release.

“I went through a sequence of stages throughout the process of draping this gown, playing with motion and structure to capture the emotional engineering.”
