While checking out some pretty threads at Shipley + Halmos, I noticed a woman next to me with a shoe hanging off her shoulder. Literally. It was a black, leather ankle bootie with gold chain-link corset detailing and a gold chain-link strap. And the back zipper of the shoe opened to reveal — the content of her purse. It was AMAZING. I almost died and went to accessory heaven.

The only tragic part was that my digi cam was on low battery. Otherwise, a photo op was most definitely in order.

Fashion Week might bring out the crazy, but it also brings out the creative. And I’m always down with that.
