While getting into Diesel’s Black Gold show proved to be complete hell for the hundreds of guests clamoring to get in to view design Sophia Kokosalaki’s first collection for the brand, the clothes inside were pure heaven.

Staying true to the brand’s rock star vibe, Kokosalaki upped the sex factor by contrasting soft faded denim and dark black leather, with a few hints of black velvet and black sheer organza. Highlights included hot little one-shoulder leather dresses, studded leather botties, boyish denim overalls, denim booty shorts and bodycon dresses in a mix of the two materials, giving the looks an effortless cool that should prove to be hugely successful in landing the garments on famous bodies and regular girls alike.

But the ultimate pieces were the the drool-worthy unisex moto jackets updated with quilted leather accents — think Chanel bags on your shoulders — in black, white and burgundy made my knees buckle.
