DKNY
Donna Karan knows where she comes from and doesn’t mind revisiting it.
In celebrating the 20th anniversary of DKNY, she went back 20 years for her styling cues. And guess what? Instead of looking costume-y and dated like some rehashes of the 1980s can, this collection was smashingly right on.
There were boyfriend jackets with short, sleek knit dresses, anorak dresses, refined colorblocking on dresses, tops and skirts, sophisticated shrunken mini tweed suits and techno aspects thrown in everywhere you looked.
Talk about a celebration — this was riotous. And short — it’s going to be a leggy, leggy spring in Donna-land.
