The only thing more inherent to New York than The Post is Donna Karan, a name inextricably linked to Gotham via iconic acronym. And it was with the city in mind that creative director Garry Martin delivered clothing fine-tuned for the subway surfing man.

Titled “Urban Rhythm,” the collection offered everything a guy could ask for (or splurge on), including outerwear styled in all conceivable ways: wool top coats under nylon puffers, leather jackets and other jackets in luxe moleskin with mock-shearling. So on point was the presentation one got the feeling things were almost too perfect (just picture a world in which ball caps and Doc Martens reign supreme!) But fashion ultimately reflects the society in which it’s fostered, and in NYC especially, the dream often is the reality.
