Short, sassy and sweet.

These little numbers reign supreme at DKNY. Flippy full skirts, pleated prints, swingy empire dresses and drape-y bubble skirts were everywhere on the catwalk for Donna Karan’s secondary line, almost to the point of it being overkill. After all, who, but a colt-ish 16-year-old can get away with wearing these little frocks?

Luckily, this was also a collection that had wonderful knit pieces — oversized cardigans and fringe-y sweater dresses — that you could cherry pick to wear. Outerwear was also a bright spot — particularly the olive green patent leather coat with a drawstring waist and the velveteen parka.
