Doo.Ri
Chains.
It’s all about strands of chains and how they move. From head to toe, designer Doo-ri Chung seems to be preoccupied with chains around the neck or as part of a shirt, around the waist, as hosiery and even brilliantly, on shoes.
When you think about it, this designer’s forte is matte jersey, a knit that moves and flows something like chain mail. So her incorporation of the metal throughout her collection is an organic progression. And while we do love and respect her artistry, we just wish she’d lighten up on the gray.
