Erin Fetherston picked up where she left off last season – and the results were lovely. Taking cue from Nico, the girlish designer showed a refreshing series of clothes that included a beautifully tailored white vest with matching pants, a sheer, floaty black floor-length gown, and a sexy black pantsuit finished off with a metallic blazer. For a designer with a mini-frock fetish, this was quite the departure.

But she didn’t completely abandon her roots, and smartly so. Fetherston has a die-hard fan base who wouldn’t stand for a season without whimsy, and so she served up a series of dove songbird printed dresses, a little white lace dress, and a subdued but lovely lilac chiffon cocktail dress. Notable was the lowering of hemlines to mid-calf length.
