Dover Street Market, brainchild and curatorial masterpiece of Comme des Garcons’ Rei Kawakubo, is one of my favorite stores in the world. If I won the lottery (and was thin), I’d buy all my clothes there. The shop has recently revamped its basement (pictured above), which houses brands and products like the DSM private label, Idea books, Junya Watanabe, Supreme, Original Fake, Visvim, Monocle, Engineered Garments and Sneaker Space by Faye Toogood. The new fall window display (below) features set designer Andy Hillman’s “Endless Summer,” a dreamlike garden-illusion.
