Fans of the megahit HBO series “Game of Thrones” donned their best costumes on Tuesday night and took center stage at Madison Square Garden for an immersive, visual, orchestra-and-choir performance of music from the series.

Here, they tell us about their style.

Inspiration: “Jon Snow. I even grew my hair out. Some people have said that I look like him because of it.”
Cost: About $95 for the cape on Amazon.com

Inspiration: “Melisandre. I loved her style throughout the show. The color really matches her personality.”
Cost: $400; it was made by a seamstress

Inspiration: “House Greyjoy. I liked the idea of female empowerment.”
Cost: Nothing; made from found items.

Inspiration: “Joffrey, even though I don’t have the hair right now. [This] was the coolest-looking costume that Joffrey wore back in the day. I didn’t bring my crossbow, though — I didn’t think I could get in.”
Cost: Over $200 for the fabric (He also made a crown, not shown, with a 3-D printer.)

Inspiration: “The Dothraki and the Night’s Watch. I really just combined a bunch of costumes that felt right.”
Cost: About $60

Inspiration: “Khaleesi. I just think she’s beautiful and strong and powerful and amazing.”
Cost: $40, including fabric bought on Amazon.com and a wig
