Stars love to show off their good sides on the red carpet, and this spring they’re adorning them with romantic, side-swept manes. Whether curly, straight, piled high or worn loose and low, sideways coifs add instant glamour to the season.

Blake Lively served her long locks on the side at the premiere of her new flick “The Age of Adaline.” Jessica Chastain spiraled her regal strands over one shoulder at the Golden Globes, while Leslie Mann went for a more tousled, beachy look. Salma Hayek bloomed on the same red carpet, adding flowers for a ’40s take on the trend. Emma Stone, meanwhile, showed you don’t have to have Rapunzel hair to embrace the trend, flaunting a shorter, faux-bob style at the Oscars.
