But at the 2020 show Sunday night at the Staples Center in LA, a few stars shone super-bright.

While other Hollywood awards shows tend to be more about gorgeous gowns and elegant updos, musicians tend to let it all hang out at the Grammys.

From the most daring and skin-bearing dresses to cool and crazy suiting, here’s the glamorous crew of winners, presenters and fabulous guests that made The Post’s best dressed list.

The “7 Rings” singer and 5-time nominee made a huge entrance in a custom Giambattista Valli piece with a layered tulle skirt that was reportedly 20 feet in diameter.

The most-nominated artist of the night served major glamour in an Atelier Versace gown with crystal-studded piping that she paired with Lorraine Schwartz jewels. Her inspiration? Diana Ross, Cher and other “powerful” women with “iconic status,” stylist Marko Monroe told The Post. The night’s hostess did the mostest in a waist-defining, sparkly silver Atelier Versace gown. It was an elegant combination of serious and chic that felt right for her opening monologue, in which she paid touching tribute to Kobe Bryant.

Before you call this mini look basic, consider that the singer, who performed alongside the duet “Nobody But You” with her boyfriend Blake Shelton, is, uh, 50 years old. Her thigh-high boots and Dolce and Gabbana dress — studded with dozens of tiny shells — strikes a satisfying balance between badass and beachy.

A black suit doesn’t have to be boring, as “Meant to Be” singer Rexha proves with her Christian Cowan ensemble — and the sexy, sparkly chainmail-style top she’s layered underneath.

He’s yee-haute! The Best New Artist nominee and “Old Town Road” hitmaker went full dominatrix cowboy (yes, that’s now a thing) in a Barbie pink Versace suit and matching hat.

A kimono on the red carpet? Unexpected — and fabulous. This Dsquared2 look (complete with oversize glasses) felt like a playful throwback on H.E.R., who was nominated for five Grammys, including Album of the Year and Song of the Year.

It’s been a minute since we’ve seen a peplum worth talking about, but the model’s Yanina Couture gown — with its sunset orange hue, giant sculptural sleeves, plunging neckline and thigh-bearing slit — is pure modern bombshell.

Yes, she’s a perennial fan of a strapless, cinched waist ball gown, and no, we’re not over it! This Georges Charka Couture dress is an edgy upgrade to the “Good Place” actress and Grammys presenter’s go-to silhouette.

Slinky white silk is pretty hard to pull off, but it’s definitely trending (hi, Jennifer Aniston). Dua Lipa completely kills it in this Alexander Wang two-piece, which evokes the best of the ’90s, including Kate Moss’ signature slip dresses. Plus, she completely committed to the ’90s vibe with her hair and makeup, which lent the look extra cool factor.
