Harper’s Bazaar editor-in-chief Glenda Bailey may be a fashion icon, but don’t expect her to start posing up a storm for street style photogs any time soon.

“Those people [who] have a lot of time in their day to dress up and hang out in front of shows, that’s good for them, but I, of course, have a very busy itinerary,” says Bailey, whose March issue features Cindy Sherman mocking such Instagram style-ites.

“I start at 8 a.m. and I’m lucky if I am eating dinner by midnight. For me it’s more about the practicalities.”

For Bailey (who starts purchasing her Fashion Month wares six months out), such practicalities include this year’s NYFW essential: the uber-exclusive, camel-colored Gabriela Hearst “Nina” bag, named after soulful singer Nina Simone.

“She only produced 25, and there’s already a waiting list,” the editor tells The Post. “It’s the new ‘It bag,’ and I love the rose gold hardware on it…I feel a real movement into the lady-like briefcase and rounded bag.”

Her other must-have? A health-conscious cell phone.

“I’m about to swap out my iPhone cover because I’m getting one of those anti-radiation covers,” Bailey says. “Apparently, we all have to be very vigilant about it.”

After all, cancer’s not a good look on anyone.
