Lately our shorts mantra has gone from tight and short to loose and slouchy. Think cutoff denim and easy boyfriend-fit bottoms for that comfy worn-in look we’re feeling right now.

During the day, we like them with white T-shirts and gladiators or a tank with a vest. To take the look into a bar or under the stars, all we need is a quick shoe change. We especially dig the flexibility: Roll them up when you want to show more leg, down when you need to keep things under wraps, or cut them so they’re always the perfect length.

Note: These aren’t the kind of shorts that get attention from boys. So if you’re into dressing for dudes, Daisy Dukes it is. But we were never those kinds of girls anyway.
