H&M goes green

Calling all tree huggers! H&M is jumping on the eco-friendly bandwagon with its first fully sustainable collection, which hits stores today. All 80 items — and the 10 accessories — are made from environmentally adapted materials, including organic cotton, organic linen and recycled polyester.
The line, inspired by gardens, landscapes and hippie chic, is heavy on florals (which always reminds me of Meryl Streep’s ice-cold delivery of “The Devil Wears Prada” line, “Florals for spring? Groundbreaking.”). Though I’m not one to wear prints, I must admit I’m absolutely loving this flowy, floral dress — a steal at $17.95! — and the collection’s super fun red mini-dress.
